چکیده
Aim of the study: To examine in vitro sensitivity Salmonella sp. and Escherichia coli strains to microbial activity Lippia gracilis Schauer essential oil (LGSEO) determine optimal level LGSEO as a growth promoter diets for Japanese quail up 35 days age.Area São Cristovão, Sergipe, Brazil.Material methods: A total 504 female quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica) at an initial average body weights 6.80±0.10 g was allotted one six treatments (0, 100, 200, 300, 400 mg/kg diet containing 500 bacitracin methylene disalicylate) 7 replicates, using 12 birds per experimental unit.Main results: In age period 21 days, feed intake declined linearly (p=0.04) efficiency improved (p<0.01), whereas no changes were observed production performance (p>0.05). The estimated (p=0.01) maximum relative proventriculus pancreas obtained inclusion levels 196.5 251 mg/kg, respectively. Inclusion 100 300 reduced bacterial count.Research highlights: use organ development demonstrated potential antimicrobial capacity against bacteria. Due its pharmacological composition, can potentially substitute antimicrobials, because contains thymol carvacrol main active constituents.

Water Deficit and Seasonality Study on Essential Oil Constituents of Lippia gracilis Schauer Germplasm
The aim of this study was to analyze the chemical composition of the essential oil from leaves of Lippia gracilis genotypes, in the dry and rainy seasons, and with and without irrigation. The extraction of essential oil was realized by hydrodistillation in a Clevenger apparatus. The chemical composition analysis was performed using a GC-MS/FID. The leaves of the L. gracilis genotypes provide es...

متن کاملInhibitory activities of platelet-rich and platelet-poor plasma on the growth- of pathogenic bacteria
Background:The utility and efficacy of novel materials in tissue regeneration and antimicrobial therapy are contingent upon the employment of either blood derivatives rich in platelets or platelet-poor-plasma (PPP). This effect is largely mediated by the increased or decreased concentration of platelets in the plasma. The current study aimed t...
